REGULATION
ARTICLE 1. NAME
On May 31, the Sant Quirze Té Vida Association organizes the 1st Oncological Solidarity Walk 2026.
ARTICLE 2. PURPOSE
The 1st Solidarity Walk for Cancer Research 2026 is a charity walk. The funds raised from registrations and donations will go towards research on cancer, conducted by researchers at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology in Barcelona.
ARTICLE 3. PARTICIPATION
Anyone who wishes to participate is welcome, regardless of disability, reduced mobility, nationality, gender, or age, provided they have registered correctly and on time. Participants must follow the marked route.
Minors require authorization from a parent or guardian, provided by the walk organizers. Participants are encouraged to wear the event T-shirt.
ARTICLE 4. DISTANCE
The walk will cover approximately 5,000 meters. The route is entirely urban and on an asphalt surface. The start and finish will be located at Masia Can Feliu.
ARTICLE 5. CATEGORIES AND SCHEDULES
The walk will begin at 10:00 AM on May 31, 2026. There are no categories for participants. The organizers reserve the right to change the date, the route, or cancel the event, without any right to compensation for registered participants. The time limit to complete the walk will be 1 hour and 30 minutes from the start time.
ARTICLE 6. REGISTRATION
The registration fee is €XX. Registration will be open:

The organizers reserve the right to close registration before that date if necessary for organizational reasons. Registration will only be valid once payment has been received.
For any registration made through the website, the organization is not responsible for any technical problems, hardware or software issues, connection problems, data transmission or any other error or dysfunction that prevents the correct receipt of the completed form.
Registration for the walk is personal and non-transferable. The organizers reserve the right to refuse any registration that does not accept the terms and conditions of the event as outlined in the regulations.
LATE REGISTRATION: will not take place.
WALK T-SHIRT COLLECTION. The walk T-shirt will be collected on May 30, 2026 at the
Masia de Can Feliu (Plaça de la Vila, 1), between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and on the day of the walk from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the designated starting area.
You will need to bring your ID card/NIE/passport to collect your t-shirt. You can collect another participant's t-shirt by presenting a photocopy or a WhatsApp image of their ID card/NIE. Participants under 18 years of age must present authorization from one of their parents and/or guardians.

ARTICLE 7. DONATIONS
Apart from the registration price, participants can also make a donation, as well as those people who do not wish to participate in the walk but would still like to contribute financially.
ARTICLE 8. INSURANCE AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
The organization has taken out accident insurance for the duration of the walk, in accordance with current legislation. An ambulance service will be available.
ARTICLE 9. CLASSIFICATIONS
No list of participant rankings will be published. There will be no timing.
ARTICLE 10. DISQUALIFICATIONS
The medical service (ambulance) and the accredited organizers are authorized to withdraw during the event:
- Any participant who shows signs of poor physical condition.
- Any participant who displays unsportsmanlike behavior or repeatedly protests to the organizers.
ARTICLE 11. AWARDS AND GIFTS

ARTICLE 12. LIABILITY
Participation in the event is under the responsibility and at the participants’ own risk. The participant, at the time of registration, declares to be physically fit for the event. The organization declines all responsibility for damages that participants may cause during the event, cause themselves or cause to third parties. The organization is not responsible for the physical, moral, or material damages that the participants and/or spectators may have during the walk.
ARTICLE 13. ACCEPTANCE
All participants, by registering, accept these regulations and, in case of doubt or if any situation not reflected in it arises, the decision of the Organizing Committee will prevail.
ARTICLE 14. REGULATION
The organizing Committee reserves the right to interpret these regulations and may remove rules or establish new ones.
